WotG Supports OpenID
Posted by on Jan 22nd, 2008

We now support OpenID as an easy alternative to logging in for commenting as well as many other things. These IDs will also work across all of our contributor blogs. This should make interoperability much easier and really ought to streamline things for our readers. This also means it should make it easier for you, the readers, to leave comments. We like comments, they let us know you care.

So how do you get one of these nifty OpenIDs? Chances are, you’ve already got one. If you use any of these services, you already have an OpenID.

If you don’t use any of the services mentioned above, you can go here and find a list of OpenID providers.

OpenID isn’t compatible with our site alone, there are tons of other sites that can utilize this form of identification. You can find two directories for sites that use OpenID here and here. So feel free to leave your feedback, I don’t think we can make it any easier.
