Google Chrome Coming to Mac & Linux
Posted by on Jan 16th, 2009

According to Brian Rakowski, Google Chrome’s product manager, on an artcile on CNET Google wants to get versions of their browser released for Mac and Linux users before the second half of 2009. Mac users, and the just plain curious, can track the Chrome on Mac progress, track Linux bugs, and install test versions of the browser for Mac and Linux.

For those of you who haven’t switched because Chrome lacks extension support, fear not. Extensions are on the way as well. Being the top requested feature for Chrome, Google would be stupid to ignore the masses that have made them the behemoth they are now.

So have patients, my little geeklings. We’ll get another cross-platform browser to play with soon enough. Apparently it’s out-performed Firefox and IE on the Acid3 test so far.
