Kevin Smith’s Batman: Widening Gyre sees the return of Batman’s lover Silver St. Cloud. While all of this happens, he also learns the identity of his new ally. The comic also features guest appearances by Aquaman (not sure which one), the New Teen Titans and Deathstroke the Terminator!

Blackest Night hits the Doom Patrol head on in issue #4. The Black Lanterns have it in for every resurrected hero, and no team has been resurrected more than Doom Patrol. Having already lost a team member in the first issue, now Doom Patrol has a lot to handle when the dead begin to rise . . .

Anthrax’s Scott Ian pens a new Lobo book entitled “Highway to Hell”, which finds the intergalactic bad boy in Hell, and pitted against none other than Satan himself. The story apparently involved demonic Chihuahuas, dolphins, the worst cruise ship ever and much more! Lobo’s long needed a new direction, so hopefully this supernatural one will serve him better.

Secret Six #15 is guest-written by “Suicide Squad” writer John Ostrander, and focuses on Deadshot, a merc with the addition to kill. When new team leader Bane cleans house, Deadshot is wondering if he can overcome to the need to kill – or if he’ll threaten both his life and his teammates. “Secret Six” has been Gail Simone’s best book at DC – and its one which keeps getting better and better.
