With the second week of NaNoWriMo coming to a close we thought we’d hop on the bandwagon. No, while many of the WotG staff are writing their own novels, we won’t be cooperatively penning “Way of the Geek: A Rise to Power”. We have put out a new WordPress plugin though, specifically made for NaNoWriMo.
NaNoStats uses the NaNoWriMo widgets and word count API to build a widget that you can put on your site. The beauty of this plugin is that it updates your word count through the NaNoWriMo website. So as you update your count on NaNoWriMo, this plugin updates your count on your site.
It also works with multiple users, to add widgets to user profiles. Like all of our plugins, this is hosted through the WordPress Plugin Repository and can be downloaded here.
Keep those words flowing and let the world know what your count is.
