And sure enough over on DC, there’s only one comic book being released this week . . . but it’s a doozy.
The sixth issue of Blackest Night finds the heroes of Earth in increasingly dark straights. The ranks of the Black Lanterns now include recently resurrected heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman. And before Barry and Hal can free their friends, they have first escape the Black Lantern rings coming right for them. It’s been an epic thrill-ride so far, and shows no signs of letting up.
Note on the retailing side – this issue will only ship to stores participating in DC’s Green Christmas program. Everyone else gets the comic on January 10th, 2010.
