Stephen King’s comic book magnum opus continues in The Dark Tower: The Battle of Jericho Hill #3, as future gunslinger Steven Deschain finds his Affiliation devastated. Deschain and his friends mount a daring counter-attack against their friends – unaware there is a traitor in their mists.
In Dark X-Men #4, the HAMMER X-Men team head into a truly dark place – Norman Osborn’s mind. Buried deep inside is the unspoken connection between the former Green Goblin – and the resurgent X-Man. But of course, Norman Osborn’s mind is a scary place, and even if the Dark X-Men get out, there’s no telling if Norman’s mind won’t snap altogether.
Tails of the Pet Avengers #1 follows a collection of stories from the four-legged Avengers themselves. With the likes of Lockjaw, Lockheed, the Thor Frog and more, this is definitely the book for anyone growing a bit weary of the Dark Reign-Siege-New-New Avengers of the last couple months.
And again, if you are feeling a bit nostalgic, you might like “X-Men: Pixie Strikes Back #1″, which has the young women of the New X-Men tackling two big problems – 1) high school and 2) their semi-demonic best friend, the eponymous Pixie. Honestly, this is probably the X-Book I’m most likely to pick up, simply because it sounds fun.
