The Franken-Castle craziness continues in “Dark Wolverine #89″, as Darken survives Franken-Castle’s attack – and battle further complicated by the arrival of Darken’s daddy – Wolverine. Which is fair and all, seeing as how this used to be Wolverine’s book. Anyway, Wolvie isn’t a big fan of Darken or Castle, so things aim to get pretty messy from here on out.
Invincible Iron Man #29 focuses on the Iron trio in action. Pepper Potts recovers from her latest scrap while emerging as a new hero – Rescue – while Jim Rhodes is worried he might have burned all bridges to the Pentagon. And meanwhile, Tony Stark is getting ready to receive two very special guests – Justine and Sasha Hammer. The intersection of all three stories should be pretty fantastic!
“Shadowland: Blood of the Streets #1″ brings a mystery to four lone operatives in the midst of Shadowland. Daredevil seems to have gone all Anakin Skywalker on us and may already be losing his grip on the hand. A rogue team of Hand may be prowling the streets, and if they are, Misty Knight, Silver Sable, Paladin and Shroud want to know about it. But each has their own agenda, and there’s no telling what any of them with do with the information they find.
In “Thanos Imperative #3″, Nova gathers a team of the biggest and baddest cosmic heroes for a strike against the Cancerverse. This might be the “Cosmic Avengers” line-up Comic-Con was buzzing about, and if it is, it’s a sight to behold. Silver Surfer. Ronan the Accuser. Beta Ray Bill. And more. But all of it may be for nil if Thanos – once the universe’s ultimate bad guy – can’t stand against another universe filled to the brim with ultimate bad guys!
